The pose you caught is whimsically adorable. Made me smile and say awww. Glad you had your long telephoto with you. The only post-editing changes I'd suggest is to look for distractions around the outer portions of the image. Anything that is brighter than the main subject is often something that pulls our eye away and diminishes the overall effect. I did my suggested edits in Photoshop, but they could be done with any program or app. Made the bright background spots disappear, added a slight dark vignette, and darkened the ground he is standing on. About 1 minute's worth of editing. Only removing the bright spots in the forest would've been enough. |

I see whimsical-ness in the bright colors and all the objects being represented in the painting. There is something special about the look of the painting, and I'm guessing it is because it is painted on glass. It is helpful that you included the story behind it. I especially enjoy the stories behind the images. Nice job of shooting glass in sunlight! No hotspots or distractions like that. |

Your story description brings the horse to life. I immediately saw him moving around and having fun. Your image is no longer a "still" image to me! The lighting is bright and cheerful. I like being able to see the details of the horse because of the lighting and, of course, your effective post-editing. I remember the product called Calgon and its advertising slogan. Clever of you to use that! |

The white vignette really makes this bear pop out at me. It makes his eyes pop out at me, too! And then I see his mouth full of food (and not full of "me"). The photo is both scary and adorable! And I loved hearing he was in your yard and all you had to do was to look out the window. I could see your picture of him in a storybook to illustrate a whimsical tale. |

You made a nice fairytale image by making us see the flowers as trumpets with real music. A great fantasy and whimsical concept. The music graphics fit right in. I like the treble clef being at the top left as it would on sheet music and then the other measures flowing out from there. Helps convey the message. The orange color catches my eye and brightens the mood. Kudos for dreaming up and carrying out this composite! |

If you want to see this sign in person, go over to Advent Hospital and go in the medical office building on the right. I think St. Lukes also has signs at their drinking fountains. But the locks are a first time for me! |
