I agree that the cropping is what makes this picture! |

Love the dreamy but tasty effects of your macro shot. It can be difficult to get the right amount of depth of field while keeping the dreamy blurriness of the background. I'm enjoying looking at the red parts as well as the little pieces of foliage around the berry. Effective composition. Great even lighting so that your picture doesn't look like a run-of-the-mill garden snapshot. |

Oh my goodness! I've never seen these parts so clearly! Perfect image for the "parts" assigned subject. Dramatic, for sure. The lighting is great. The composition keeps my eye on the cute little fellow. Well, maybe not so cute if they're pests and fall out of trees. |

My first time seeing a close-up of a bullseye dartboard. Very catching! The area of sharpest focus is just perfect. The fact that the dartboard is outdoors is interesting and accounts for the weathering I see on the silver parts. My son-in-law has a dartboard but it is indoors, and that's the only other one I've ever seen. Your photo is well lit and well composed. My eyes go directly to the bullseye area each time I glance at your image. |

A most amazing rendition of a part of a car! The wood has given us such an interesting texture. The image doesn't even look like a photo anymore, but rather an artist's rendering. I never would've guessed that changing the image to black and white would be so effectively unique. The even lighting makes it easy to look at the picture. I like the cropping. I'd like the image equally as well whether you flipped it horizontally or not. |

Such interesting equipment. So many shapes to the parts. I wanted to see it all better, so I brightened your photos and now post them here for everyone to see the details better. I'm not sure why your lighting is so blue. When I applied auto Levels in Photoshop, the image turned sunny-looking. I don't find the sky to be distracting. I think the brighter object in the top right pulls my eye away from the much more interesting foreground gear wheel. The part you selected reminds me very much of a face. There is a potential assigned subject of faces created like this, and I find them very hard to find. |
