It was the fence and shadows that first drew my attention...and then I saw the leftover construction concrete blobs that are permanently attached to the patio! I guess I could have removed that one stone. But it's winter time, so I don't care if it is there right now! Will undoubtedly kick it off the patio in the summer! I think the lawnmowers throw some of the stones onto the patio. |

I love that you shared what you see off your patio, because it is so different from what I've ever seen from my house in an urban setting. It helps remind me that life isn't all streets and buildings! I do forget! The lighting and lighting angle have created a really pleasant image. Shooting through your window didn't diminish the great look of the great outdoors! Although the tail would've been nice to see, your current composition makes me concentrate on the fox's face and expression. I like that even though it is in the shade. |

Totally, an interesting image to look at! Makes me want to set up a similar scene on my porch. Gotta find a hat! I like your choice of items. The lighting makes the image clear and sharp for my old eyes! I feel the story, too. As I gaze at your image, I am waiting for the person to return and sit down there! Nice storytelling. I do wonder what the round black thing is that is stuck in the rocking chair... |

Believe it or not, this is exactly what is happening outside my window right now. Big beautiful snowflakes are falling. Supposedly for all the day long! Wish I had that big beautiful stove - and I see the handle of a little snow shovel leaning against it, I think. You captured the essence of the gigantic snowfall amount very well. Including the various items in the scene tells me a more interesting story than would just a big pile of snow on a table. I might make the entire image just a tiny bit brighter. |

I always love these kinds of snow scenes! Maybe because the amount of snow is so obvious. The touch of color from the umbrella adds even more interest. I notice a warmer tone in your finished image. The original is dark, and the edited image is bright and cheerful. Snapseed is a helpful app. How did you resize the photo for our website? |
