All those smiles give me the silly feeling, too. I'm sure we Americans often look silly when we're in foreign cultures. I definitely like to see the red color in this image because red lanterns and lots of color seem characteristic of that culture. It's great that your husband had an "enjoyable" look on his face, too! |

Gosh, they look like they are social distancing and don't like having to do that! In that "current" sense, I like seing both people simultaneously. Each person would make a good photo, too, which is my other answer to your question! Together, the people make an intriguing photo-journalism kind of photo. One that tells a story, and we get to imagine any of a variety of stories it could be. I like the interest of the setting which shows the graphic elements of the white street markings and the concrete shapes they are sitting/lying on. The red and white checkered blocks add some interest for me since they look different from anything I've ever seen in a street. Fascinating to know it was in Shanghai. |

Silly facial expressions! Why didn't I think of that when I was looking for suitable images this month?! I was thinking of silly "objects" only. I'm enjoying the emotion I see in the main boy's face. Makes me smile, too. You caught a real connection between the boy(s) and you (the camera). They look happy to see you! |

I love the good humor in your creation! More imaginative than I would've thought of when seeing that stump! It must have been quite dark there since I see the high ISO and slow shutter speed. Great job of fixing the exposure because your new photo looks just fine. You did a good job of solving the challenge of creating the cowboy with parts of photos YOU took. And he does look "silly"! |
