The lighting really makes the glass heart ornament sparkle and stand out beautifully, It's like a wow! I like the way the heart itself is against a dark area of the picture. I found the colors on the right and left sides were distracting. When I covered the bright blue spot with my hand, the heart looked even better! I edited your photo by cropping the right and left sides but then I decided I liked the size and shape of your composition, so below is my version with a little Photoshop Rubber Stamping. |

Thanks for your Christmas greetings! I like the way you made good use of the (now) blank area at the top to add your text. The Christmas presents look a little out of focus to me but more like you may have cropped very far into the scene. I wonder if the lighting was from above, because the packages do have a 3-dimensional look but no side shadows. |

You found red and green colors in the same scene with pine cones. That makes for a definite Christmas theme. I have a hard time keeping my attention on the pine cones because of the bright detail and colors of the background. The ways I deal with this problem is to add a vignette and to clone over anything that distracts me. See my edited version of your image. |

I am thoroughly enjoying your image! I'm admiring the amazing background you created. Your use of the candle's light is so well done. I like being able to see the sparkling glitter. The bokeh adds a special look to the image. |

Your image sure is a "Christmas" image that is very appropriate for our Assigned Subject of Christmas. I like being able to see the outlines of the puzzle pieces. I'm going to assume that you wanted to show the finished puzzle in its skewed position on purpose. Another view could have been to show some lady's or ladies' hands putting in the final piece. |
