Yes, I'm glad you felt the "pop" instead of the bland original. |

The original seemed so dull due to the overcast sky. No light was lighting up the arch and making it shine. That's why I decided to do something creative to the image. I was trying to give the arch a shinier look! |

I like the way the train closest to us is motion blurred up to the door where people enter the train. The impact would be improved if you cropped off the top down to and including that metal beam sticking out from the right. |

This is a nice view of the academy which I never saw when I was there. It's always good to look for a different spot from which to take photos! I think cropping off the bottom foreground of empty grassy area would improve the impact. |

I like your selection of lights and darks. The sky is just the right tone not to draw attention. It sets off the rocks so well. I've always liked Nik Silver Efex. Love the frame...I need to check out that software! Nice composition. And your tour sounds so excellent! |

I've never seen a bayou, and it looks somewhat spooky! I actually like the original better than the crop. I get a better feeling for the parts of the bayou. If I were to crop it, I'd include the background and the water but not the foreground grasses. This crop would emphasize the water, which is the section I find most interesting. |

Great photo! I've often wondered how I would shoot this kind of action. Did you set the camera to take photos continuously? This pose has all the horses looking good. I think it was well worth dressing in hip boots to get this shot! |
