12 Sep 17 Reply Thanks for the explanation. I had forgotten about holding down the shift key to get a straight line! Sep 30th
12 Sep 17 Reply Ditto! I live in KC KS and got the clouds...although some of my friends didn't, so it depended on exactly where you were. I, too, have relatives in Dallas and am thinking of going there in 2024! Sep 30th
12 Sep 17 Reply Happy that you liked how I fulfilled your assigned subject. I did take this photo with this theme in mind. Sep 30th
12 Sep 17 Reply The font is called FunStuff, in case you want a cute font for another purpose. I often use it to indicate a fun or light-hearted situation. Often for use with children. The dots around some of the letters reminded me of the insects buzzing all around the sunflowers, too!

I didn't have to do anything to get the colors to pop. When the flowers are fresh and the light is morning, just snap away and forget about Lightroom or Photoshop!

12 Sep 17 Reply I've owned Camera+ for years but never delved that deeply into its settings. Wow, just did! And it DOES show the ISO, etc.! I'll play with it and see what happens! Thanks! Sep 20th
12 Sep 17 Reply Do you know the name of the app? If so, we could get it to put on our own cell phones! Sep 14th
12 Sep 17 Reply I think of you every time I create a border! I know you love borders. Actually, I do, too! Sep 14th
12 Sep 17 Reply I love it that you said the image makes you smile when you see it! Sep 14th
12 Sep 17 Reply Yes, half the photo fun at the sunflower fields is getting close-ups of the insects (this image isn't an insect close-up). I got one photo with a butterfly. The rest are bees and some other interesting looking creatures. The bees do NOT bother the people, because they are so intoxicated with the pollen (so says the farmer!). Sep 12th
12 Sep 17 Comment Cute idea to wash one horse with such hot water that it shrank to the size of the little horse! It's amazing they both have the same black spots on them. That makes your idea work so well. How did you blur out the top and bottom areas of the photo? Sep 11th
12 Sep 17 Comment Very humorous title! Nope, I can't do that! Ha, ha! Beautiful photo, too. The background is so blurred out that the bird stands out so well. I like the font and the use of all caps. I, too, used that Transform>Warp setting in Photoshop inside the text working area, and forgot to mention how I curved my text. Sep 11th
12 Sep 17 Comment Imaginative idea! I've always loved long exposure traffic photos. What phone app did you use to be able to choose the f-stop, ISO, and shutter speed? Sep 11th
12 Sep 17 Comment I love it! How creative to dream up this idea! And you sure did a lot of work to produce it. How did you make the red lines? The choice of blue for the text is great. And so imaginative to put that text throughout the maze, which led to its grand finale! This is a great memento of your solar eclipse experience. The clouds covered up the sun here when it went into eclipse mode! We were at 99% totality, too! Sep 11th
12 Sep 17 Comment Well photographed doggie with a nice soft background. I'd probably lower the 2nd text so that it didn't touch the dog's mouth. I'm also a fan of text with shadows, but I realize the plain kind is quite popular these days.

I've got an old version of Paint Shop Pro but haven't used it in years. It has some cool features not found in Photoshop.
