Sure is full of great texture! It's all so nice and clear! I don't know how it was lit, but it worked well. And no shadow on the cardboard background...hard to do! Nice composition with some extra space in the direction the duck is looking. Also, the duck's happy expression made me laugh! |

I agree with Barbara. I thought of this, too, to put more emphasis on the texture aspect. |

I see lots of patterns and designs in many colors. I'm figuring that all of that creates "texture." The story behind the project is very interesting. Is this place near where you live?
Including the people in the picture gives it a story-telling feel and makes the scene and project seem real.
The scene seems tilted a little bit. I'd suggest making the dark tower on the top of the mountain to be perfectly vertical, to cure the problem. |

I'm going to try to find this shape again on this tree. Actually, there are several trees close to each other with this great bark of them. Hope to find it and see what's happened, if anything! The protrusion does sort of look like stone instead of wood. |

Yes, a heart! Why didn't I think of that?! I ought to go find that tree again and see what else I can do with it! I didn't notice those 3 black spots until I looked at the picture enlarged. That's why it is good to have a fresh eye look at it. |

That texture sure jumped out at me! Living in the north, I totally forget that green lawns aren't ubiquitous! Sure looks funny to me! And you emphasized that gravel really well.
My only problem with the editing is that you did something that created white halos around the trees in the sky. I've had this happen to me, but I forget what causes it. It is too much of one particular slider, maybe Vibrance? Someone should know... |

You sure got the focus and depth of field just right to make an impact! That shallow DOF helps remind me that f/6.3 doesn't give much leeway. Often I'm disappointed in my own macro shots. So now I almost always shoot images in a series of 3 to 4 f stops to try to get a shot I like! I like YOURS! Nice colors, too. I'm thinking that I might slightly darken the yellow area in the upper left, to stop my eye from popping up there so much. I want to keep my view on the sharp part of the leaf and the green bug! |

The paintings are immense. The sense of scale, thanks to the sign at the bottom left, is amazing. It was good you didn't clone it away! The High Pass technique sure added impact to the point of the picture. I'll remember this use for that filter, because it isn't one we get to use often. Thanks! All in all, your rendition of the scene makes me appreciate and wonder at the prehistoric wall. |

The architecture style looks like the new high school here, too! Must be nice to be inside it, with all the window light. The facade seems to be in the shade when you took the picture, so I couldn't see the texture as well as you could in person. In Photoshop I fiddled with pushing the highlight and shadows sliders to the right to brighten up the building. Also painted over it with Clarity. Now I think the facade looks as bright and cheery as the sky. Click on the image to see it larger, in order to appreciate the lighting difference. |
