Hmm. Not sure if it is your intention, Brian, but the first thing I saw was a huge vagina. And now I have seen it, I can't un-see it. Is there irony in your title??? |

Lovely piece. And I appreciate how you have given your 'flat' scene so much perspective, just using simple techniques. Excellent. |

Your image is both serious and playful, and has sure fired up my imagination. Love your work, Alan. And thanks for the info on turning 2D into 3D. |

Love how you have built water for the steps, and given the ducklings water to swim in. The overall scene is tranquil and calming. I don't think the squirrel is adding to the scene though. Good work, done well. |

Wow, those mossy rocks are wonderful in their original. And your addition of the mushrooms works well. I wonder if the forest sprite could be less pronounced though. Us humans have people spotting instincts built in from birth, so even if she was less dominant in your image, we will still see her, probably before we see the rest of the forest glen.
I tried to dim her down, so you can see what I mean. Impressive compositing. Well done. |

Hahaha! Thanks for noticing that I lined up the lighting to match for both images, Steve. I also had to add the shadow of the edge of the plate onto the soup to complete the trick of the eye. Shame the soup was so muddy though... very unappetising. |
