34 Mar 21 Comment The image is dreamy and ethereal. I love the treatment you have given all of the elements so that they vague and wistful. Turning the dark out of focus trees of the original garden image into soft misty vapour was a stroke of genius. It really adds to the effect of being in the clouds. I also like the texture you have made with the lilies under the trees where the roses are growing. And overall - most of all, I like that strong story of the young woman going to the wishing well. Only one slight suggestion - if the wishing well was a little more subdued, it would put it more effectively into the mistiness of enchanted garden. Mar 28th
34 Mar 21 Comment Before I read your explanation, I thought the guarding soldier was meant to be a shadow on the wall, cast by someone who is outside the frame of the image. So, naturally, I think if the soldier was curved to fit onto the curved wall of the archway, it might work better. The grave and the flowers seem a bit lost in the background, and are hard to see. My thought is that if the soldier was a shadow, the grave and flowers could come right to the foreground, and be more of a feature. I like your idea and the contributing elements though. Mar 28th
34 Mar 21 Comment I see a lot of mystery in your image, and the carefully managed night time colour palette is impressive. Story is strong, and the viewer can make several interpretations for themselves if they take the time.
Technically impressive. Well done you.

34 Mar 21 Comment Those owls are quite cute, and the image is telling me a story of owl behaviour as well as being visually attractive. I do like what you have done with moving the plant elements around to improve the composition. Your technical proficiency is good, and combined with lovely colour harmony it has become a very attractive image, in my opinion. Mar 28th
34 Mar 21 Comment You have done a very competent job with putting the various images into an image, and you must have good mastery of the various software packages you are using. I'm afraid though that the style of image does not appeal to me - even though I appreciate its 'floral abundence". I find the four principal objects being all the same size makes them compete for attention, as does their colour. I'm struggling to understand what it is you intend to communicate to me with your image. Apologies, Steve. I just don't get it. Mar 28th
