The texture of the hide is impressive - I like the magnified furriness. The background suits, though it could be a little less busy, as in my opinion, it is competing with the heavily textured cow face. Were you intending to have her blend into the background? And I wonder about the diagonal shadow stripes across her face between her eyes and her muzzle. They are a distraction that makes me think 'why they are there'? |

The image and colour blend is seamless. Well done. I'd like the reflected window light on the lake to be brighter though. When lights reflect on water in the real world, they are almost magnified in intensity. |

I was looking at your overall composition and wondered if the centre placement horizontal and vertical could be more pleasing. I have offset it, rather clumsily, but I think my eye flows over, under and around the sphere following the leading lines more fluidly with the sphere away from the centre location. Thoughts? |
