Absolutely no idea! I am sure it is not an unusual one but am not knowledgeable enough to make an educated guess. |

The image is quite arresting. This character begs for the viewer to take a second look and create a story to fit. Your post processing work really enhances the capture and gives him a personality that makes the viewer want to know more. I wish the moment had been longer and that you could have gotten him from different angles. How about going back and seeing if you can find him again!!! HA, HA! |

Shirley, no I have not written a bio BUT I live in the southeast corner of Pennsylvania. I get a lot of lovely birds to experiment with just by sitting on my front walkway It makes for fun hours of photography! |

Not sure abut the halo n the tail but easily handled. It might have just been what the tail looked like. At any rate I am waiting for spring to bring these little guys back along with my bluebirds and goldfinch. I keep myself entertained all summer trying to capture them! |

I think I like the B&W version better than the color. The shapes and lines are so very interesting. I was thinking that if you could get rid of the background vegetation so that the lines of the structure were just floating in space, you would have a unique image and a bit different than the existing one. Not sure that would even be possible but bottom line is this is a really fun study of form and line. I like it! |

This is a lovely image, Jim. The framing with the trees really directs the eye to the mountains beyond. It is quite amazing what you have done to give the sky some real color and character. You are reminding me to pull out some of mine and share them with the group. Almost everywhere you turn there is an image in the making! |
