I agree with the crop as well. Somehow the large blurred boulder on the left took on a life of its own once I posted the image! |

I did go to El Calafate but only for an overnight stay after which we traveled by boat to Estancia Christina (Estancia Cristina is an Argentine estancia located inside Los Glaciares National Park)We were probably on the lake you are referring to and saw beautiful glacier pieces floating. The ranch was amazing. Look it up on the internet. We did hiking and horseback riding through the most incredible scenery! |

I agree, Martin you have a wonderful image here. Those kids are too much. We all are making up the conversation that the two of them are having - really engaging with the action. That is what our images are supposed to do! Great job. |

I am in love with lighthouses and this is a fun capture! I am immediately drawn to the colors of the buildings as well as the Lighthouse. It would be fun to crop into a portrait format and really jazz up the colors of all the houses.
That said, can someone tell me, not for the first time, how to download one of your images so that I can play around with my ideas? Thx! |

This is a nice capture. Looks like they were quite pleased that the camera was trained on them. Definitely like it in B&W. Did you have a tripod for the shot? I find that lens is a bit heavy for me and focus is an issue whenever I use it. |

I really like this. The theme I came up with was depth. I feel a real urge to walk as far as I can into the image. Then the ideas of infinity start popping up. It's great when an image gets you thinking outside of what the reality within the image is. The softening of the background an mid ground put a real focus on the pier. Good job there. I also felt like the green tones helped to differentiate the different planes within the image which in turn emphasized that theme of depth. Interesting image! |
