I like it Piers! This group always gets me thinking, "Why did I not think of that!!!" I do like the B&W quite a bit. |

Jim, you are right....this would not go on a wall but the photo was a fun experiment. I was standing on the roof of my pickup truck to get the right angle. Timing the capture was the difficult part because the trains came only about every 25 minutes and were going so fast that you could not even blink or you would miss the moment. Great fun! |

Great focus on this shot. I have photographed many horse and rider combinations on XC as this shot is, and it is not easy to get things just right. My daughter rides at this level of riding in Eventing and the challenge of a good image is tough. Well done! |

I am going to vote for the B&W version! There is something mysterious about taking the color away so that the shapes and the climb to the top with leading lines adds an element of interest. I agree with Jim that you climb up and really want to see what is beyond. I think it is a great accomplishment to have an image of this sort (grass and sand) that includes mystery and unknown purpose that the viewer needs to supply. I really like that! |

This is great! I also love the discussion and think that the end result is excellent. Now I need to go out into my yard and see if I can do as well. My squirrels are many and very fast so am uncertain if I could match your skill!!!! |

Jim, this is such a lovely capture. I have been to the Park and also had many beautiful images from my wanderings there. I am really intrigued by the Firebush. It really makes the image interesting all the way through. It seems to serve as a stair step to the view of the mountain. Nicely done! |
