2 Dec 21 Reply Well, now I will go back to work on the image. I think cropping the sky is a great idea and dehaze will make a difference as well!I did a great deal of shadow reduction as the foreground was almost black. I just did not do the dehaze.

Thank you both for the comments.

2 Dec 21 Comment Fascinating! I would definitely work with the tilt on the main structure. lI kept going back to it and wanted it to be straight. Not sure you could do that without distorting the smaller temple. I also find myself wishing to see the entire reflection of the taller temple. The reflections in the foreground really caught my attention. I think the wake up at 4AM was quite worth the effort!! Well done. Dec 7th
2 Dec 21 Comment I really like the middle ground of the image. The topography of the fields make a fascinating contrast to each other. I would concentrate on cropping to emphasize the middle ground. Possibly removing the tall tree in the foreground just to the left of center. I kept feeling like that was blocking my view! Not sure that can be done but might be worth a try. I also might try cropping the hills and sky a bit. I found the shadows on the hills in the background distracting to what I found most interesting in the landscape. Dec 7th
2 Dec 21 Comment I think the image would be better if the background was lightened. Because it is so dark you lose the black end of the beak and this makes the head look strange. I love their position together and would like to see what an image would be like using the entire bird body as well. This is a great start but I think there are some details that would make it even better! Dec 7th
2 Dec 21 Comment I second Martin's comments. Just get a little more of the sunset color into the white sections on the right. Great job! Dec 7th
2 Dec 21 Comment You did a masterful job of getting the foreground lightened up enough to enhance the scene. I also love the rocks leading you to the road which takes you into the valley. It is a great line for the viewer to explore the image. Dec 7th
2 Dec 21 Comment This is an interesting experiment with the wide angle. The trees are beautiful and you did a great job using the HDR capture to get the full dynamic range of the scene. I do have to say that the photo is rather dizzying for me to look at. Perhaps a little less tilt might make the viewer more comfortable. Or, that might just be me! Dec 7th
