Hi Angela,
I like the position of the flower and the blurred effect you give to the petals...just right. I also like how you treated the background. I agree with others about the pistol being too blurred. As a personal preference, I love the petals of any flower much more so than the stamen and pistols, so my approach would be to blur them over the petals. That being said, I appreciate the work you did on this image. - Nancy |

Hi Vinod,
I like your image a lot. The lighting and colors are wonderful as is the shimmer from the drops of water. I, too, like the rose in the background but would blur or darken it. It would require a lot of patience, but finding a willing bee or ladybug to settle on a petal of the main subject rose would add more interest to the image. - Nancy |

The 3-D nature of this image is quite remarkable. Congrats on your use of stacking to get this effect. The colors are great as well. My only suggestion would be to consider cropping out a bit on the left so that the plant is not dead center. - Nancy |

Hi Jeff,
I absolutely love this image...just as it is. I wouldn't change a thing. The colors are wonderful however it is you created them. I am quite intrigued with infrared photography, though I have not yet played with it (and I can see myself getting sucked in when I do). - Nancy |

Hi Peter, I love the contours of the pepper and can see why it appealed to you. I agree that the focus is not sharp and that distracts my eye from appreciating the contours. While I like the effect of the orange filter, I also think this image might be stunning as a stark black and white shot.

Hi Lynne,
I love this type of image, and the colors are wonderful. I agree with cropping out the background flowers so that the eye is not distracted. I looked at your black and white rose. It is gorgeous in its tonal quality and softness! - Nancy |

Thank you, Charles. While I like the elements in my photo, I agree that it might look too busy. I will play with some ideas halfway between what I shot and your edited photo. |

Thanks, Lynne. I like your crop very much. I agree that the pink blossom at the bottom right should be cropped out. |

Thank you, Peter. I agree that it is always important to approach a subject from several different angles. Unfortunately, I only shot from this angle since I was so intrigued by the juxtaposition of colors. |
