Thank you, Angela. I lucked out on the placement of the bells. I didn't need to tinker with them (no pun intended). This is exactly how they fell and positioned themselves. I love when I can create a one-of-a-kind image! |

I appreciate your comments, Jeff. I didn't use the upper left for writing, but I see now that I could do that. |

Thank you, Charlie. It was a fun image to shoot...particularly because of the surprise chemical reaction and the randomness of the settling of the bells and the placement of the "snowflakes." Posted: 12/18/2020 11:51:03 |

Thank you, Vinod! I take that as a high compliment. It is what I was hoping for when I took the photo. Posted: 12/18/2020 12:48:04 |

Hi Angela, I think that your photograph is beautiful, and I would gladly hang it in my house. I think that Charlie has some good suggestions, and I'm fine with the changes he made. I would, however, stay with the same shade/brightness of green that you have. It seems to accentuate the pink of the flowers. |

Hi Vinod, The praying mantis in silhouette is so interesting, and I really like that you made this a monochrome image. The sharp focus of the details draws in the observer. |

Hi Charles, I like a lot about this image. The repeating shapes are engaging, and I particularly like the small areas of purple exposed on the left edge and on the right edge. The purple that frames the toy on the right and bottom center has a nice texture to it. The photo would have been less interesting, I think, if that texture wasn't there. |

Hi Jeff, I love this image...the colors, the details, the perspective from which you took it. The two mushrooms are perfectly poised for you, and the fact that they are imperfect makes them that much more eye-catching. There is a lot to look at. |

Hi Peter, I had some trouble knowing what I was looking at. It would have helped me to highlight the non-lime green part of the flower (perhaps the little bit of purple, and any white that might be near it). My brain saw a chili pepper at first. I love the idea you had to shoot the petals through a crystal ball, and the reflections are great. I agree with another comment that it might be helpful to darken less important areas to make the main subject stand out. |
