Lovely Western Tanager…at the current res it looks pretty sharp. Pictorial-wise though I think you could improve the composition by cropping in closer and placing the subject in the upper right quadrant to extend the view line.

I actually prefer the Original option more: the dragonfly levels and position don't look natural in the other plus the composition of the "Original" image is a lot stronger. |

Great shot overall. I think you could improve it by swapping from a square crop to a portrait aspect ratio to crop out all the un-useful background. Then you may want to try a selective mast to bring up the brightness/midtone levels for the birds' heads as right now they wash into the background. |

An interesting shot since you caught the reflection and there is rain. At the current res the image looses a bit of sharpness: but that is most likely a result of file size limitations. My only suggestion would be to play with the crop if you can possibly add in a bit more negative space on the right side for the bird and thus the viewer's eye to move across to and help accentuate the idea of movement. |
