Birds eat stuff….so I have no qualms :)
Nice post work and the removals are well done. My only semi-helpful comments are perhaps to pull up the blue on her wings and head a wee bit: just because the entire image is very brown. Also the left back nail is strangely grey, so a wee mask to darken it down would remove the distraction. |

Nice capture. Color work and focus are nice. My only suggestions is to flip the image and leave in a bit of the green background to return it to more landscape crop as right now the viewer's eye doesn't have anywhere to go: ie allow it to follow the eyes of the subject across the frame.

Insects are hard! I like the flip and crop from the original, but maybe include just a sliver more of negative space above the wings to really add to the feeling of the long/tall wings. On my screen the eye and front leg are a bit fuzzy, so maybe a wee mask to adjust those -- really all I can suggest. |

Very cold little dude! Good captured moment. On my screen the chipmunk's face looks a wee bit fuzzy BUT that could be the dim lighting. Perhaps pull up the exposure and/or brightness of the entire image just a fraction as right now it's pretty dark.
And after writing the above I see I'm echoing Mike.... |

ZOMG. So cute. Also congrats on a novel portrait. I really like this shot and my only suggestion to strengthen it is maybe (if you cropped) add in a bit more of the background: not a lot, just some a bit below or above to play with the impression of its tallness.
