I think you have done well with such a dark shot, but I agree with Pamela regarding the sky in the original and Sharon re: the upper clouds. There's a bit of artifacting where you removed the seagrass/sand tidier, but I only noticed when I looked closely at the spot. |

I like your work to create an interesting abstract and think your post efforts are well rewarded. With your current crop you might want to try rotating 90 CW so the subjects moves L->R. That's really my only suggestion.

The colors are spot on and I think you have an interesting image and by playing with some of the crop ideas thy also mentioned it could overcome the focus issues others mentioned. I would leave a bit of the fuzzy bright pink as I think they add depth. Here's my idea. |

Ah turkeys. Funnily enough I just started cutting together a video of the turkeys that have been living here at the ranch this spring/summer…but I digress. I agree with the others about cropping out the reflection: especially since the reflection contains one of the birds you removed from the grassy area. For a shot like this I'd play more with the contrast since you did a good job of getting the alert bird pretty sharp: if you have Topaz Sharpen you may want to see if it can bring up more.

Great job getting the whole flower nice and sharp. The post work to crop and bring up the hues really works. My only suggestions might be to flip it and lessen the crop just a wee bit to include a bit more of the stem….minor things really.

A nice capture! Since you want to submit it my only suggestions is that on my screen there's a bit of noise on the right wing of the left butterfly. Plus I maybe messing around a bit with the crop might be interesting.
Here's my go off the original: |
