Good capture and I like the unusual-ness of the image, but I don't think there is enough of the subject visible: just a fraction of a second later would make it quite awesome. The crop and straighten work well and I'm on the fence with the removal of the yellow coloration of the water. I'd give it a 5: it's good/not terrible but not something I'd showcase.
Also an apology blurb: I didn't get home from the teeny tiny island as expected on Friday because back in January our lovely RV was stolen from our mechanic's service yard, and as chance would have it a replacement/upgrade was available in Montrose, so I flew there (four flight in one day) meeting up with my partner in Denver and then we spent the weekend driving it home to Cali. On top of that fun, Thursday I fly to OH to assist my parents again.

The fun post work reminds me a lot of the early days of Photoshop and playing with the negative and rasterizing effects. My only kvetch is that while the results are very fun/interesting, you may want to go further and alter the composition by rotating to level out the branch the dove is on and then flipping it horizontally.

I really like the colors and basic composition of this shot: nice post work to bring more detail out of the water surface. If you can you may want to crop in even more to make the shark subject more prominant.

Great post work to create more contrast in the background hills. I do think this one of those images were you could get away from the standard frame ratio and crop to remove much of the sky background and thus have a more panoramic look. Also I'm a sucker for L->R images and that downward hillside might work better flipped.

Good post work to sharpen up the capture. The red-eye does look a bit freaky, but in a good way since that is for what these birds are known. I am kind of wishing for something to be happening in the photo, but the super alert posture compensates a bit for that.

Swans are evil creatures….I say that because long ago I was charged daily/many times by belligerent male Mute Swans. But back to the photo: I agree with Mike re: the gold tones. I also think the movement is a bit off-kilter as it's readying R->L right now, but a flip might help with that. To my eye the swan's face is not as sharp as the rest of it and I'm a bit on the fence about deleting the Ring-Neck's (?) mate. I think a threesome might make for a more pleasing image/stronger story option.
