Greetings from Ohio: I ended up driving from Cali a week and a bit ago due to family stuff. Great image. Good work cloning/brushing out the odd leaf on the right. My only comment is that the orange centers of the violet flowers look a bit funky since they aren't sharp and they compete for attention. Perhaps targeted masks to darken them down.

I agree with the others that the comp in the original variant is stronger and that the levels in the processed version are pushed too much. Since the subject is the water, consider messing around with the crop a bit and perhaps even try a portrait orientation.

Greetings from Ohio: I ended up driving from Cali a week and a bit ago due to family stuff. I like what you did in post with the upper left quadrant/water, but I think the blurring of the upper right rock is too strong. Consider masking to darken it down as the blur looks unnatural since it's on the same visual plane as the primary subject.

Nice valley shot: I agree it needs a bit more glow or some such, as it's quite flat light-wise. You might also want to play around with your crop to remove as much of the foreground as possible and/or clone out the power pole in the left corner.

Nice capture on your return trip. I think a bit of selective burning on the background to darken it down and if are feeling really adventurous you might want to darken the foreground dam while leaving most of the turtles nearer the same exposure/levels as the heron. |

Greetings from Ohio: I ended up driving from Cali a week and a bit ago due to family stuff. I'm glad I'm so late this month as I was wondering the same thing as Pamelaâ⬦.I think all the post work you did works well, but I like my crops to have more space for a moving subject and my eye to travel across, so I suggest you open the crop up a bit more on the right side and consider removing a bit of the bottom section at the same time.
