Hi Kathleen, I am ok with soft image, which, in this image, is minor. In street photography, film cameras (no AF) using pre-set DOF range, had image acceptance. Most humans may prefer a soft focus in their photo rendering. The image's subjects projects environment safety - or is there more to the story? |

Hi Linda, Concur with image flip and darkening background hotspot. The tree's position helps anchor the image and its finger-like branches adds to the images personality. Excellent presentation. |

Hi Peter, A strong interesting image. The leading lines and layering created by the shore. poles, waves, distant coastline and clouds - anchored by the lone beach-walker project a vastness, but connected to humans. I would let the image stand without change. |

Hi Gerard - Similar to viewing a sandy desert landscape, the blanket's ridges and shadows provide tonal contrast and a sense of vast isolation. A solid color blanket vice a plaid may give the image a different emotion. For me, the toy mouse makes it a messy blanket. |

Hi Denice - Your capture of the blossom and leaves was spot on. The conifer tree trunk has subtle texture. The image has a simple, but strong ability to stand-alone - in a framed presentation. |
