Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
99 Jun 23 Comment Hi Kathleen, Nice to meet you.
My first take away is - the grocery shopper is well dressed, but has no basket or cart; the store looks immaculate and well stocked. The image is well lit and the subject is centered; the deli counter takes me out of the
image, but on the way brings the cashier to my eye.
An excellent environs image.

99 Jun 23 Comment Hi Linda, Nice to meet you.
An excellent night capture. Not sure if I could offer any advice other than what the Group has touched upon.
Pre-visualize and take a lot of shots with different settings.

99 Jun 23 Comment Hi Peter, Nice to meet you.
Not to duplicate other comments - I think your image is an excellent capture of life - cityscape and seascape. Busy, but interesting; several scenes within one. Excellent usage of leading lines throughout; the cloudy skies and sea cliffs aid your eye exiting the image.

99 Jun 23 Comment Hi Gerard, Nice to meet you.
To me your image is technically perfect; excellent tonal coverage - white/gray/blacks. The stone building identifies with the strong New England personalities. The building also has potential for other photo ops if flowers were added to the two urns(?); and if the two lamps were night lit.

99 Jun 23 Comment Hi Barbara, Nice meeting you. I feel very fortunate being admitted to a Group that demonstrates exceptional photography
knowledge and can express their critiques in a precise written manner.
Your image is enjoyable and unique. The capture of the horse looking through the fence rails is seldom seen. Perhaps the horse had an apple in mind.

99 Jun 23 Reply Hi Barbara,
Thank you for your comments. Older trees are my favorites -
they don't move as fast...

99 Jun 23 Reply Hi Peter, Your comments are well taken. With a bit more time on my part and a visit to PS the image would have been a bit cleaner; and a larger negative conversion size, etc.
My pre-visualization was to isolate the tree alone as the subject; but foot traffic was heavy and time short. The
present presentation was decided afterwards - as a addition to my tree collection/portfolio - as a print. Never considered a Card - Christmas; but the idea has merit.
