Hi Jon, I am new to IR and it is a slippery slope at times.
I am happy you like the image. I think IR has helped me with my b&w film Filter choices; but all my images seem to look better after the third scotch. Cheers Tom |

Hi Lance, Thank you for your constructive view points. I may retake this panorama - with Fall's color; and try a different position, etc. Tom |

Hi Mike, Appreciate the suggestion. As I mentioned to Chuck, the "dark" aspect has been my weakness for some time.

Hi Chuck, Thank you for your suggestion. My camera was a converted IR 850nm, and I am of the understanding that color has been eliminated. New to IR so I could be wrong. However, I have been accused of dark shadows, skies, etc., for years - it has been my addiction. |

Hi Lance - Good separation between castle and hills in background; allows one to peak through openings and view the distant countryside. The masonry details and shadows provide interest to the historical subject. |

Hi Jon - An excellent title for a desolate Island in a vast emptiness. Good tonal separation between water, sky; and the Island's shades. Your centering and use of negative space creates a strong, thoughtful image. |

Hi Mike - A strong seascape image. The deep dark shadows, black rocks/clouds - with contrasting white clouds and surf presents a visual drama of an impending storm, etc. The dark presentation of the left/right borders focuses my attention through the image, following the curving shoreline.
