I like the way you have photographed the Bugatti to illustrate the monster that it is. I think I will try this technique next time we go to a motor museum. I agree with David about cloning out the "Paris 1925" sign which I think is detracting from the car which is the overwhelming subject of the picture but it is a great image nonetheless. |

Thanks David, I like your version, particularly the enhancement to the sky which has added a bit of drama. I left the puddle in because I like reflections but I have to concede that it is an insignificant reflection and does not add a great deal to the picture. I cloned the bottom of the puddle to stop it from dribbling out of the picture because in my original crop part of the puddle disappeared off the bottom of the frame so I cloned part of the road back in. |

Welcome to the group Crystal. I like your simple image and the way you have isolated it from the background. You have brought out the detail in the petals very well and added the water droplets (either by good fortune or design) to add another dimension to the picture. The test is "would I have it on my wall?" and the answer is yes. It would be good to see the original to show the extent of the post processing that you have done. |

There is a good depth to this image with the foreground leaves slightly out of focus and also the trees/shrubs in the background. You have enhanced the colours very well and showed the autumn colours at their best and probably to the extent that the colours are more like those that you saw with the naked eye. Often the brightness of light shining through the leaves can be a distraction but you have toned them down very nicely and they provide a good contrast of colours. |

I like the contrast between the girl's bright clothing and the rather austere room and I also like her expression. She is well positioned in the frame and the whole image portrays mystery. Why is she there? (We know that from your narrative but without that we would not know). My only comment would be to have positioned the bench a little further back so that the door frame was not cutting through her face. An observation is that there are some good textures on the walls to use as backgrounds in other images. A very enjoyable image. |
