I think you achieved your aim to make the flowers soft yet have details. As you have done in previous images, you have separated the flowers nicely from the background and they stand out well. In this case, I think I might have made the background slightly lighter to capture a little more detail, particularly at the top and in the bottom right corner. |

This is an interesting action shot and tells a good story. I hope the rider managed to stay on the horse, her position looks rather precarious. I agree with David and Cindy that a bit of cropping would improve the image. A bit of panning with a much slower shutter speed might also produce a good image with a slightly blurred background to emphasize the speed of the maneuver. |

I like the contrast in the colours of the flowers and the background. Personally, I would crop the picture to include all the blue flowers at the bottom and eliminate the two flowers and buds at the top to make a tighter composition. |

This is a fascinating image and took imagination and skill to produce it. It is certainly abstract and colourful but as you say in your response to Charlie, it takes time to understand abstract photography. It would be interesting to see other abstract images that are accepted into the competition. I am always impressed by the conception of images that are different and this certainly fits the bill. |

I agree with other members' comments and I like Cindy's version which eliminates the distraction of the out of focus elements on the right hand side. A very good capture. |
