I think the vignette has added a bit of contrast in the sky which is rather bland in my submission. It has also concentrated the eye on the main action so adding the vignette is a good choice. |

I agree with Cindy. Last month's image deserved better, there must have been some stunning images in your competition to beat it. |

The orchid stands out beautifully from the foliage after you have darkened it and the yellow and the greens compliment each other very nicely. I think you have lost some background detail on the top and right side and to bring a little of that back will improve the image. It is a very colourful image and I like it. |

Another excellent image to follow on from last month (how did that one do in the competition?). The focus stacking has made the flower pin sharp and the red of the petals stand out beautifully from the clear black background. I notice that you and members of another group that I am in use Helicon Focus for stacking. I only have Photoshop, is Helicon better? |

The colours in the sky are beautiful and the silhouette of the tree is clear and well positioned. There is an orange blob in the lower middle of the image. Is this something on the lens? A small point would be could you have included the whole tree? The left branches seem to be cut off. It is a very striking image and I like it. |
