It is definitely good to try something different on a cold day and it is a good try but I agree with Cindy that it needs tidying up a bit. |

It's sad to see something that was probably someone's pride and joy that is now rusting away and abandoned. However they do make good photographs and you have added a bit of punch to the original which makes a more attractive image. But I'm not sure about the other vehicle being only partly in the picture (but there may have been other distractions) although it does add to the run down atmosphere. |

I find pictures of old buildings very appealing and I like the atmosphere of this shot. Was the strong yellow cast what you actually saw when you took the image? I may be tempted to desaturate the yellows a little and remove or change the colour of the pot in front of the shop. David's conversion to B&W is interesting but there isn't strong enough definition between the colours to make it a crisp conversion. For me it is an enjoyable image that could be made better with a bit more work in post processing. |

A great piece of imagination and you have been rewarded for your persistence. The post processing has made it a very clear and attractive final image. It deserves to do well in the competition, let us know how it gets on. |

Pleasant shot taken at an attractive time of day with the lights of the buildings standing out in the evening light. The waterfall adds another dimension to an enjoyable image. |
