A well spotted shot with the added interest of the lettering and the flag with the added bonus of the slight reflection of the flag in the left hand glass. Very enjoyable image. |

The lighting is good and the caribou stands out well from the background. I think a little lightening around its face would be an improvement. A pleasant shot to remember your visit to Alaska. |

This is a wonderful shot of the pier and taken just at the right time of day. An interesting option would be a long exposure to flatten the water and sharpen the reflections but that is in addition to and not to replace this one. One small improvement would be to straighten the horizon to the horizontal. A great image. |

You have created an attractive image from a rather flat original and the cropping out of the sky is good and has concentrated the eye on the rocks and the building. Was the water really as orange as shown in the final image? |

I like the contours of the tea plants and the contrast of their colour against the darker trees in the background. The vertical structures in the centre create a bit of mystery to me. They seem to be the supports for a different crop. For me, the sky does not work, it seems to have been warmed up and there is banding along the tops of the trees. |

I think the square crop has worked well by bringing the blue decoration into the centre and making the whole image more symmetrical. The contrast between the blues and yellows is attractive. Maybe a little more detail in the dark areas would be an improvement. I congratulate you on modifying the old lens, I wouldn't have the courage. |
