Yes, this is a much more subtle image and I think your changes have worked well. |

My wife and I have these conversations too. My response is that photography is an art form and creative additions are part of the game. Artists also have the opportunity to simply put onto canvas what they see but often add their own interpretation and photographers have the same choice now with all the software that is available to us. |

Thanks David. I checked back and find that I didn't take any shots without people passing by. I got carried away and failed to take the picture I intended to take. |

This image is new to me so here goes: I like the way you have enhanced the colours in the building and windows but I think I would reduce the blue in the windows at the back of the building. The increased texture is good and for me this is an enjoyable image. |

I agree with others about the crop. The sky replacement is good and for me the image is interesting because the only cacti I see are in my greenhouse and the tallest is about 1 foot. |

I think you took a good portrait in difficult conditions. The lady's pose is attractive and there is good eye contact with the camera. I agree with David that the face needs to be brighter and I think his version has achieved that. If you have the opportunity when taking portraits, a deflector is a good piece of kit to get light on to the face, particularly if the subject is wearing a hat. Even a piece of white paper can do the trick. |

I agree with others that it would be good to see this image in colour. I like the sweep of the water from top to bottom and also the portrait presentation. I think it needed a greater depth of field to bring the whole image into focus. |

I like the colours against the dark background and the sharpness of the dahlia. The crop is attractive and the removal of the yellow cast has really made the colours pop. There are a couple of petals at the rear that are out of focus but this may have been your intention. |

I think you had ideal conditions for these shots and the combined image works well. The aeroplanes must have come in close one after another because the clouds are fairly sharp and don't seem to have moved. I like the subtle detail and brightness on the ground. My only suggestion would be to lighten the area where the light trails converge. |
