95 Feb 21 Comment A very pleasant and simple image. The range of colours in the flower and stem are attractive and I particularly like the blue in the bottom left that compliments the flower very nicely. Feb 11th

98 Feb 21 Comment I like the way you have slowed the motion of the water just a little bit and I particularly like the splash of water in the centre that breaks the horizon and adds drama to the image. I agree with Zina about the image not being horizontal and also lightening the stone bottom right. I would not crop it out because that would also loose the pleasant flow of water in the foreground. I have been experimenting with dodging and burning and a bit of dodging on that rock would lighten it. Feb 15th
98 Feb 21 Reply Small world. I was a cricket umpire and have umpired cricket matches at Berkhamsted Cricket Club. I also took my younger son there for a county cricket trial when he was much younger. He is now playing premier league cricket which is the top league in the county. Feb 11th
98 Feb 21 Comment It is good to learn of places I have not visited or even heard of previously. My visits to USA have been exclusively on the east coast where my sister lives. We know canola as rapeseed which produces fields of yellow in the spring. The sky in this image is more blue than any I have seen and is complimented by the rich colours in the fields. I like to see people in images like this and the brightness of the lady's jacket does draw the eye but also enriches the range of colours in the image. Feb 9th
98 Feb 21 Comment I also enjoy the sweep of the coastline and the pleasant sky. Usually hi-viz jackets are a photographer's nightmare but it works here because of the story it tells. The crop is good by making the figures more prominent and the inclusion of the water bottom right adds a good balance to the image. Feb 9th
