Just a thought about another way of handling this. It lets the lion's eye and it's attention to the kill become more of the story. |

Interesting because it's such a different look for a lion The detail really makes for the interest and it's rare I have seen this kind of detail. Nicely done. . I'd crop some of the bottom, maybe a half inch. I don't think you need it. |

Great human interest shot! The water makes a nice leading line. Good colors and sharp and really good detail in the clothing. If any parts of the water are blown out (I cannot tell) you can clone parts of the stream to counter that. Otherwise, maybe lessen the highlights just on the water. I would play with darkening the upper left--nothing going on there and making it darker would help the scene. I'd clone out the feet on the top right of the photo on the border. I would try sharpening the beginning of the water--it's not as in focus as the rest. I might consider removing the boy on the far left--that would eliminate the water problem and I'm am not sure he's necessary--you don't need to see where the water is originating. One of the great strengths of this photo is the clumping of the boys and he stands outside that. |

It's a n nicely framed scene with nice colors and and interesting landscape. The picture is slightly tilted--I think it's picking up the curvature of the earth but it's still tipped a bit. I would tone down the yellow flowers a bit. I think it would have been more effective with the foreground flowers in focus as I found they were the first thing I saw. and somewhat erases the advantage of having used a tripod. The cliffs are nice and sharp |
