Very sharp and nice. My first thought was crop a bunch of the mud out on the bottom and alittle down from the top.. I would also desaturate the green about to tone the grass down to make the bird stand out. I would clone out whatever that yellow stuff is under the bird--some kind of vegetation--of take its brightness down. There's something to the left of the bird's left foot and not far from the left border. I cannot tell if its vegetable or not but it looks enough like a soggy piece of paper I'd get rid of it |

Nice shot. Good color combinations and mood. I think a slight vignette might add to this. It's already somewhat there and changing contrast also increased the vignette. The ice makes an effective leading line to the sun.
I think this picture is about mood and you can change that so it's fun to play with thi.
I'd consider playing with the color balance to see if you want it looking warmer or colder. There's something to be said for either approach. I somewhat prefer warmer as it heightens the sun and screen and does make more of a contrast with the ice--which gets a little glow on it and brought out more detail in the ice. In general, I think more detail in the ice is an improvement. But probably personal prefernece |

Very nicely done. Not a lot to add to the points already made. Good leading line and nice contract between the colorful flag and the barer structure |

Thanks everyone. It was an incredible event. So often travels are about historic buildings and natural scenes but this was more about the people (and since we did a helicopter ride over Everest base camp, there were some dramatic scenes) |
