37 Feb 24 Comment Peter, it's a very nice photo. Great catch on the wingspan

I think it can be improved by bringing out more detail in the wings--I got some by toning down highlights and more of the detail on the wings emerged. I was recently introduced to the use of radial gradients in Lightroom That might be the way to bring out more detail on the leading parts of the wings and own the back.

I would darken the three light areas of grass --on under the bird's tail and one each immediately to the left and right of that. I would also darken the white spots on the tree over the bird. A tighter crop would take care of part of that		 Feb 19th
