There are a lot of elements here and I think that detracts from the focus you are trying to establish. This would work better with the sun at a different angle. The barn roof is very glaring. The lower part has a light cloudy look-partly from lighter bricks but it looks like there's a screen or fence at the bottom. Wondering what that is takes the eye away from what you want to show. Moving to another spot to shoot would be worth considering if you have the ability to get back there and the sign is still there.. The line established by the barn roof line- is leading to what looks like another barn or big shed and off the page |

Nice scene. I think the glare in the sky hurts the image. I would take out the branches from the straight tree in the foreground so that it doesn't go over the big tree with the brown trunk. I have been trying to figure out if that's a big stump on the right int he background. I kept blowing it up because it almost looked like there is a person in front--I would do something to make sure it's not distracting |

I am glad the oil point effect was explained. I was going "Huh?" but it does work very well. Nice colors and sharp. I would remove some of the various leaves in the back to make the flowers stand out. I would remove the leaf that goes over the petals of the middle iris. |

Good sharpness on the birds head. I would consider replacing the sky with something bluer. The action is not quite enough to support the title of the photo. Without the title, I don't get that. I would also consider cropping so the limb is at the bottom and maybe edit out the tail feathers below the big limb that are not cut out by the crop
The heads are very interesting and if this is cropped you get a very nice effect. I think if you do that the subject does more to sell itself and the looks in the birds' eyes do suggest some interaction although in my opinion it looks more like they are talking than fighting. I think I shouldn't have cut out the left bird's foot but this is some like I am suggesting

Nice shot. Crisp and the formation adds interest
I would crop in a lot more and have the plans fill in most of the screen. The planes are sharp enough to do this and it lets the U.S. Navy lettering be read m ore easi |
