A simple creative technique. I think the most difficult part is selecting your focal point by coloring that portion of the image. I am sure you will have a number of opinions on this one. For me, the large tree is the most dramatic part of the image. I am wondering if you colored the large tree and brought back the house only at 50 or 60% with the B&W portion at a higher contrast might add more drama.

I agree with Jerry. The lily appears to be floating. A tighter crop or leave the original water under the lily and just blur the sides and top of the image for that lovely soft background. |

I enjoyed the abstract but focused more on the right side. The left side is dull in comparison and I am wondering if you pulled a few more of the vibrant colors out on the left side if it would draw the eye to that side a little more. |

Funny you made those suggestions. After trying to download and change the image size so many times, I actually didn't send you my final picture.. this was the one before the final and I did make some of the changes you suggested. Thank you for your comments |
