My vote is for the dragon, ready to exhale fire and flames.
I remember Bristlecone Pine Forest very well, up at 10,000 feet; it was like being in another world...and so much to photograph! |

I agree, Karl, that the background is somewhat distracting.
I kept it because it represented a second figure, one leaning back rather than forward, which was the reason I made the photo in the first place! |

This is very painterly: I love your treatment of the swans.
I wonder if the foreground on the left is a bit distracting; it takes me away from the swans and may be worth darkening a little? |

This editing is so effective; you have transformed a mundane sight into an image of great beauty.The leaf really stands out, and the complementary colors- as already mentioned - greatly highten the effect. This would make a lovely greetings card! |
