I love this retro look, quite nostalgic since I grew up in the north of England where all clothes were put out to dry like this.
Yes, I agree with Lauren and Karl about having a light border/frame and keeping it thin. |

Mariann,
Yes,I think that we - in the west - could learn a lot from Buddhist philosophy! |

The image is very attractive. I would venture to say this is not photography any more, but the same could be said about my currently submitted image and many others that we display.
If the result is pleasing to the eye, does it really matter whether we consider it a photograph or a graphic design?
While it matters if submitted for a competition, it probably doesn't matter that much otherwise. Or is this viewpoint too open-ended? |

Very interesting...I love the colors. Not sure what to make of the subject, but it is intriguing! |

I like both Mariann's and Karl's rendering a lot.
Just wrote a blog about Buddhism for an Interfaith organization. While not a Buddhist, I find their faith to be one with a universal appeal. |

I love the leaf's configuration, and the many possibilities of what it represents. It could, or should, be shown on Saturday Night Live! Agree with Peter about the background. |

What a fascinating image abounding in detail! I do agree with the others about removing the background noise. |

Thanks! We all, of course, see different things...thank goodness. Wouldn't life be dull if we didn't? |
