I did not get all the connotations of plane, but perhaps my imagination is insufficient. The depiction by Gerard really draws me in; every time I look at it, I see a shoe or a mutated roller skate, and the purple really grabs me! |

I love this image, which is both a technical feat and shows real old-world elegance and beauty. The yellows and golds are truly captivating. Hard to choose between Lauren's and Gerard's versions, for both are gorgeous. |

The pig does look proud of herself, and does have a noble appearance so much so that she could have had a back-row seat at Charles 3's coronation. The one-third of a pig to the right does seem distracting but would be hard to remove. |

I love the creativity behind this, especially the gate-keeper watching out as his buddies perform behind the green door.
I clearly remember the song; it was a huge hit in the UK and was popularized by Frankie Vaughan...I knew his cousin quite well! |

Thanks for all your comments. This was a dramatic moment in the piece. The acting skills of the dancers never cease to amaze me. If you take several hundred shots during a performance, you hope to get lucky with a few of them!
Gerard, you are right in that the B and W rendition adds to the menace. However, because of my admiration for the amazing lighting effects, I am loathe to dispense with them! I do, however, like your elimination of the two bystanders because I think that they are distracting from the overall effect. |
