Peter, thanks so much for the idea of angling the image content. It will make it far more interesting. |

Simply gorgeous, and amazing technique.
Perhaps, if the exclamation marks were removed, the rainbow effect would be even more striking? |

I would never have guessed this is a bridge, and I very much like your title. The vegetation in the background is a marvelous focal point, especially as the fluorescent light leads to it. The softness of the image is delightful. I cannot think how this could be improved without asking the city council, or whoever, to remove the fluorescent light overhead. |

I see a coquettish dancer spotlighted as a soloist, and love the shapes. I agree with Judith's suggestion of trying this as a monochrome, especially in sepia. If a monochrome, the vignetting may work well, but agree the "spots should go!"

Oh my...what a fortunate escape!
I love the image, with its rich sunset tones, that you still had the presence of mind to shoot.I feel that the blue area on the left is a little bold and distracting; my eye keeps wandering there when there's so much to admire elsewhere.
Nevertheless, I understand why it's one of your favorite photos, for more than one reason! |

The starkness of the branches contrasts wonderfully with the background pattern. I see a bird created by the outline of the branches, and also think of Yogi Berra:"When you come to a fork in the road, take it."
The image may be even more striking, and minimalistic, if you entirely remove the background, a la Michael Kenna? |
