Yes, I see your point about the trees. You are probably right! |

A lovely image even before others came in on the act! Karl's version, with the most cropping, works best for me. His rendition gives a very balanced feel to the image. The butterfly itself is so magnificent!! |

You were brave to hang in there, Karl: I would have been long gone! It's a strikingly beautiful capture. Like others have commented, the zoom effect in the foreground bothers me; it takes me away from the inherent beauty of the scene. I think you could even crop the entire lower half!! |

You have created something exquisite out of the mundane, and it is gloriously effective! The colors work beautifully together; despite their saturation, the image retains a wonderful softness. |

Your interpretation is far more inspiring to me than the famed Sean Scully works, but who am I to say? The textures, and the linear cracks, are very effective. Admittedly, the bands of color help greatly.
Yes, I'd hang yours on the wall far more readily than the acclaimed art of Scully! |

I love your choice of "Street Old Vintage" filter.
On balance, the tape might be best omitted; it takes away from the vintage feel. The "noise" doesn't bother me too much, as it goes with the territory. Have you thought of cropping out the right part of the image; it might strengthen our focus on the shack?
Yes, there is so much here to play with, but I love what you've done! |
