Provocative and powerful. It's great! The omininous hands and the glittering "jewels" say it all. All folks who overreach need to receive this as an Xmas present, and I want to see how they (over)react! |

The monochrome is wonderful. I love Karl's crop. I now see a tarantula and its babies on the march, as I'm sure you all do? The varying lines are fascinating. It's all very gripping. |

The crop does so much here. The small, almost encircling, inner petals, together with the blood-red colors, make me think that some small insect (or whatever) is going to be fiendishly trapped by them. I'm fascinated by this, especially as the original has such a calmness to it. Am I making sense? |

I'm searching for all those faces, Judith! Thanks for taking me to "The breezes and I", Peter. A beautiful song! |

This is no ordinary snapshot! The colors and shapes are stunning, and the effect dream-like. I do agree with Karl in that I'm not in love with the tryptich approach; I'm more than happy with just the one! |

The bright colors are captivating and hold our attention. I have no strong opinion on whether to increase posterization or not.
Both are very effective, but have a slight preference for the posterized version. |

Thanks, Karl!
Lauren, the conversion to Infrared was enabled by a Preset in Lightroom; I think it's one of the Matt Klowkowski presets...much less expensive than an infrared camera! |
