This is marvelous! The complementary colors and the composition are gripping. IR certainly worked to your advantage here.
Not sure about this, but I find the wispy cloud top right distracts a little from the Presidents'faces. |

I love this.To me, image is of a ghoulish Halloween ghost. The orange really makes the image pop and holds your attention. The layering is very effective.

I love the composition of this beautiful image. I agree with Karl that the stems could be toned down. The brighter center flower really works well. |

I am fascinated by the original image, and Karl has really made it humorous- which I love! I need to look out for such opportunities, even though we have limited snow in Indiana. |

Karl, I have a tendency to leave the edited image too dark but perhaps this one did need more blacks.
Sandra, this was a one shot effort. The Koi Pond in Selby Gardens is full of interesting and unexpected patterns, so I just kept shooting stuff from all angles for an hour or more.
I did not use a tripod, and almost never do now, since this doesn't seem necessary for reflections or other abstract work.
Judith, I used a Fuji XT3 with a 35mm f2 lens. The exposure was 1/60 sec at f8 and ISO 800. All processing was done in Lightroom(Photoshop, for me, is a nightmare and I like my sleep!) Your editing has made the image far more interesting. Thanks! |

Hi Peter,
I like how you have improved the image by cropping and adding more color variation. Your version is much stronger because of your editing. Thanks so much! |
