Natalia, Welcome to the group!
This is a whimsical winter photo of your beautiful daughter! I love what Peter(Oliver)did to your photo! Here are some additional suggestions depending on what style you want to convey. Removing distractions.. There are bright patches in the snow, retouch them to avoid drawing the eye away from Polina. add a light vignette. add a soft falling snow effect and enhance the spark.Boost contrast and vibrance.. Here is an example I was able to do with the help of a friend. |

This is a dynamic and compelling action shot-great energy and movement! Here are some suggestions you might want to consider.
Crop slightly tighter to eliminate dead space around the rider/horse and bring more focus to the subject.
Brighten the rider's face slightly-it's under a shadow from the helmet. Dodging that area can bring more life to the subject.
Increase contrast subtly to make the dust and movement pop more against the background.
Sharpen the horse's eyes, hooves, and the dust trail to emphasize the motion and energy.
A must darken the background , keeping the attention on the horse and rider.

Hi Richard, I agree with Petes improvemnts. I wish he had removed the men directly behind the young men. I love the intense face on both young men. Fun photo |

Peter, I love this image and I am so envious of your editing skills.IMy eye is drawn by the power lines , the sky and then the road /car.The only suggestion I have on your photo is to delete the lines that are coming down to the ground on the first pole.I would also add a bit more pink/Red/purple (the amazing sunsets we see along the coast. Thank you for introducing me to another area of NC |

Xiao, welcome to the group! I love bird photography, I have these little birds at my feeder everyday and had them nest and raised a family a couple years ago. I love how they fly in, get their food and then fly out and hide it.The only comment I have is that their chest usually is not as blue. What was the location you photographed it in?I believe when you are saturated and sharpened the blue comes out vs the white in their chest. In Bird photography in my opinion the Lighting, Background, Composition, Pose and Behavior are the most important elements. If it was my photo I would put a bit of catch light in the eye and lighting up the chest. |

I agree with Pete- your photo has fantastic Impact - for me Impact is Storytelling/Creativity/Composition & Technical- You have it all with the exception of the technical - I believe Pete & Mark did a great job to help you with that! Keep up the great job! Thank you for sharing. |
