Jeffrey, thank you for your feedback and your complement and please accept my apology for not replying last month.
For last month thank you for your complement. I do work very hard to photograph birds in action.
For this month I am very sorry you are not feeling well and thank you for taking time to give me your feedback. The competition that I received a first place ribbon from and the one that I am submitting the photo doesn't follow the PSA rules.
I do understand and respect what you are sharing with me. Hope you feel well soon. |

Love the photo.. since we don't have the original I don't know if you have more room in the front....I wish you had more room in the front for the turkey to walk... I like Steve's adjustments. The only change I have is make the background a bit darker. |

Hi Thorro, I agree with Stanley and Steven. I cropped it and made the background even darker.. It is a very tough photo to edit. Sorry, but I am not able to offer any other suggestions. Maybe next time use higher speed and lower F stop for better bokeh. |

Hi Steve, Thank you for introducing me to a new bird! What a beauty. I agree with Steve. The issue that exist is that it is photographed in the water and water that has movement so their is not a big contrast or reflection. If you have an opportunity to retake the picture, I would love to see it photographed on rocks or on a calm sunny day where you get a nice reflection. You might want to put it in light room and use a radial filter in order to get a bit of directed light on the head.. |
