As you said you were in the right place at there fight time to get the shot, the lady is well placed. I think we need the height of the trees to show the environment she was in. |

You have picked a very colourful float, the dark 'eye' makes a very good centre of attention you had already removed the writing which always seeks attention. It may be my computer but the image looks over exposed and there are some areas of white which are burnt out. |

These light displays seem to be very common these days in the 2-3 weeks lading up to Xmas. I like your framing of this image keeping attention on the water dragon. The colour contrast between the blue and orange works very well. I would suggest that the white lights coming out of the paper lanterns are cloned over with the colour of the paper as they are the lightest bits in the image and therefore draw attention. |

You had a good sky for this image, with a reasonable amount of detail on the horizon.
I would be inclined to crop about a third off the left as the single hut pulls the eye away from the more interesting structures. |

An interesting image, I like the use of the vertical format, in encourages my eye to go up the image rather than staying looking at the quite brightly lit campsite at the base.

Following a club meeting on Tuesday I realised a I had a better. crop of this image, which removed the distracting bird bottom left. |
