A wonderful coloured bird on your feeder. I would have preferred to see the whole bird as I would not describe this asa bird portrait. |

I see a conflict of interest in this image, are we looking at the lake or at the grasses in the foreground? |

I like available light nighttime shots they have a mood of their own. You have controlled the exposure well with no real burn out on the street light, which is creating a silhouette of the person. I would be inclined to try to lighten up the right side of the image very slightly to show some more detail in person and the doorway without destroying the silhouette. |

This is an image taken in the blue light time immediately before the sunrise. I like your use of the puddle to get a reflection of the sky. I would also like to see an image taken little later as the warm sun light lights up the scene. I feel that the image would be stronger if the base was cropped off to just below the reflection. |

Bath is a super city which promotes its history. As your subject was an actor rather than a re-enactor, you were more limited in the shot at the time as you could not get her to move slightly to get a better background so avoiding the stones etc top right. Your head and shoulder shot gives a good impression of the dress of the period she was acting in. I would have preferred a slightly lower view point so you were not appearing to be looking down on to her.

It is good to see aircraft like this F14 Tomcat preserved and displayed in very good condition. to me this is a situation where part is better than the whole. Your second exposure of he air intake shows some of the technology which is not normally seen in a shot of the whole aircraft. |
