27 Aug 22 Reply This is a cultivated Nigella flower which I grew from seed. The plant is commonly called 'Love in the Mist', and the wild plant with its blue flowers is found through much of Europe. Aug 13th
27 Aug 22 Reply Yes, but I would not have lightened the bottom left corner as it is better without seeing the photogrphers Aug 10th
27 Aug 22 Comment This is great shot of the lizard looking out though the foliage. Its head and eye are both very sharp as should be. Aug 7th
27 Aug 22 Comment I like your positioning of the flowers and your choice of background, well done in keeping nearly every thing within your depth of field. One little niggle when see is. the stalk on the extreme left it appears to have an un-natural looking bend in it. Aug 7th
27 Aug 22 Comment Not an easy image to take with an extreme luminosity range, you have kept good detail in the flames preventing burn out , and have lightened the darl areas sufficiently to show enough detail. I think I would have tried to lighten the dark areas slightly more. Aug 7th
27 Aug 22 Comment This was not theses subject to frame well but here it has been done successfully with the bridge running diagonally and the couple of cyclists being perfectly placed. Aug 7th
27 Aug 22 Comment Decay and rust have always been good subjects for photographers, and here you have some excellent areas of rust and peeling paint. The 'blueish' steel structure creates a very strong centre of interest for the image, but its relative lack of decay damage prevents it from taking too much attention from the other rust and peeling paint areas. 27 Aug 22 Comment I think mono was the best treatment for this image it gave an opportunity to enhance detail/contrast in the distant mountains and to strengthen the sky. A great mono image. I feel that the cabin still needs a little more contrast to make it more prominent. Aug 7th
27 Aug 22 Reply Thanks for pointing out those marks, I had not printed image so I was able to eliminate them before printing. Aug 7th
