Though I never been to Bryce, it is wonderful area for photographs. to me the main problem would be what to focus attention on in the vastness of the area. You have focused on the tree, which is a good subject because of the textures on it. I feel that the HDR has created an overall perfect image, but in the process has drawn attention away from the tree, towards the cliffs in the background, which I feel should be slightly less sharp than the tree. |

I like the reflection that you saw in the window, and the curve of lights leads the eye through the image. The image needs a base of the frame at the bottom of the window, the EXIT sign is prominent and I would be happy with or without it. I feel however that he structure below the EXIT sign would be better removed. |

I like your challenge you chose of having to photograph through the window on a winter's day. The removal of the screen was needed as it was a total contrast to the rest of the mood of the image. I would have liked a little more contrast to make the snowflakes a little more prominent. |

I really like the simplicity of this image and the way that there is touch of rim lighting around some of the catkins. |

I like your use of side lighting to show us the detail on one side of his face. We need whenever possible to see both eyes in a portrait, so very well done in copying and pasting his other eye in. I would suggest the use of a fine pale grey key line to define the edge of the portrait. |

It is nearly always difficult to get good images of high falls, usually because of deep shadow areas contrasting with water being on the edge of being burnt out. Here you have even lighting on the foliage on either side and on the water. You have chosen a good shutter speed which has blurred the water whilst still retaining some detail in it. If we follow the water down it creates a good lead in to the logs at the base. |
